Paxton Access Control Readers are RFID devices which provide contactless authentication — available for use with both Switch2 and Net2 access control systems. The system is very simple to use: A token is read by holding it within close proximity of the reader. After reading the token, the control unit looks up the access permissions of the user. The unit then reads the information and grants or denies access as appropriate. This Paxton reader is compatible with all standard HID™ cards, operating at 125 kHz.
