Does the Smart 51 have an encoder?

The Smart 51 printer does not come with an encoder as standard but encoders can be added either at time of purchase or at a later date should your needs change.

Do I need to service my printer?

Like all printers, the Smart 51 does need some maintenance to maintain optimal performance. Luckily, the process is as simple as running a cleaning card through the printer and takes all of 5 minutes. This should be done at each ribbon change for best results.
