The IDP Smart 50L is a dual-sided plastic card printer with a built-in laminator. Due to its highly secure design, this printer is perfect for high-security ID cards such as Government ID Cards, Student ID cards, Staff ID cards, Access control Cards etc.

With the built-in laminator, the Smart 50L this printer has the capability to print cards that can last for up to 5 years. The lamination sheet that is placed down on the card is 1 mil thick and is available as a standard clear lamination or with a built-in hologram embedded into the lamination. This not only prolongs the life of the plastic card that it has adhered to but it also increases the security level of the card to ensure that the card cannot be duplicated.

Also within the print station of the card printer, you can easily load new ribbons, just pop out the old and put in the new.
