The IDP Smart 50S Single Sided ID Printer is Ireland’s best-selling plastic card printer! The Smart 50S is ideal for printing high-quality ID cards with a smart chip. This ID Printer includes a contactless MIFARE® encoder if you need to endcode NXP MIFARE® cards and other contactless smart cards.

The Smart 50 uses a YMCKO colour ribbon which prints 250 cards full colour single sided. All graphics and photos utilize IDP’s FINE™ Imaging Technology which results in undeniably higher-quality ID Cards. The Smart 50 card printer also will automatically detect what type of ribbon is installed in the printer and will change the driver settings according to which type of ribbon is installed. The printer comes with a 100 card input hopper and 50 card output hopper.

Print ID cards in seconds

The Smart 50s ID Printer can print 200 colour single-sided cards in 1 hour. The printer also comes with its own card gauge which can be moved up or down depending on the card thickness meaning this printer can be used to print ID cards as well as adhesive plastic cards which are normally thinner in size such as 480 micron.
