Switch2 systems include a distinct control unit and reader, present a simple yet expandable access solution that caters perfectly to small and medium-sized sites. This standalone system eliminates the necessity for a PC network, allowing you to choose the doors you want to secure without having to outfit every door. To add user tokens, merely introduce an enrolment card to the door, which can be done in no time at all. System administration is uncomplicated and can be handled swiftly.
In lieu of traditional keys, employees and visitors are given electronic tokens. In the event of a lost token, a shadow card can be displayed to a reader to promptly block the token from the system. This security measure guarantees that a lost token, if found, could not be exploited to breach the building’s security.
