Return & Refund Policy

This policy outlines your rights when buying from CardLogic.ie, in line with Irish and EU consumer laws.


1. Cooling-Off Period (Online Orders)

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

  • The 14 days start from the day you (or someone you nominate) receives the goods.

  • To cancel, you must inform us in writing by email or post before the 14 days expire.

  • We will provide a cancellation form you can use, or you can just email us with your order details.

Note: Custom-printed items such as personalized cards, printed lanyards, or bespoke products cannot be cancelled unless they are faulty or incorrect. This is allowed under Irish law for made-to-order goods.


2. Returning Items

  • Items must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging.

  • You are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, damaged, or we sent the wrong product.

  • If you don’t inform us clearly before buying that return costs are your responsibility, we must cover them by law.

We recommend using a tracked delivery service for proof of return.


3. Refunds

  • Once we receive your cancellation request, we will process your refund within 14 calendar days.

  • Refunds include the original product cost and standard delivery costs.

  • If you chose an upgraded delivery method (e.g., express shipping), we will only refund the standard delivery amount.

  • We may delay your refund until the goods are received back or you provide proof of return.

Refunds will be made to your original payment method.


4. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described:

  • Contact us immediately, no later than 14 days after delivery.

  • We will cover the return shipping cost.

  • Depending on the issue, we will repair, replace, or refund the item at no cost to you.

By law:

  • You have a 2-year EU legal guarantee covering faulty goods.

  • Under Irish law, you may also have up to 6 years of statutory rights to take action for defective goods.


5. Custom-Made Products

Custom-made or printed products cannot be returned unless:

  • They are faulty, damaged, or

  • We made an error in the design, specification, or order details.

Examples include:

  • Printed ID cards or gift cards

  • Printed lanyards

  • Branded card holders or wallets


6. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you need a different product, please return the unwanted item (if eligible) for a refund and place a new order.


7. How to Cancel or Return

  1. Contact us at info@cardlogic.ie with your order number and reason for return.

  2. We’ll send you:

    • A cancellation form (optional to use)

    • Instructions for returning your items

  3. Return the item using a tracked service where possible.

  4. Keep your proof of postage until your refund is complete.
